Job summary

Bunnings Warehouse in Queenstown, NZ, is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead store operations, safeguard staff and create a welcoming customer experience each day.

You'll partner with the leadership team, coach team members on the shop floor, manage safety, stock replenishment and workflow, and drive continuous improvement.

This full-time role requires flexibility across morning, day and evening shifts, seven days a week, to deliver the best possible service to customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a retail or customer-facing leadership or supervisory role.
  • Confidence supporting store operations, including safety, stock management and customer service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a practical way
  • A focus on safety and creating a positive environment for team members and customers
  • Availability to work across a rotating roster, including opening and closing shifts

  • Drive a strong safety culture by promoting safe practices and supporting team wellbeing
  • Resolve customer queries in a practical, helpful way that builds trust and loyalty
  • Look for better ways of working, improving efficiency and supporting the rollout of new tools or processes
  • Play a key role in onboarding and developing team members, supporting their growth and confidence on the job

About the role

As a Senior Supervisor, you'll partner closely with the leadership team to bring our store to life - making sure it's safe, well-stocked and ready for customers. This is a full time role and you need to have flexibility to work morning, day and evening shifts across the 7 days of the week is required so that we can provide the best experience to our customers.
