Job description

We are seeking senior subdivision specialists to join our dynamic and enthusiastic specialist team within the Resource Consents department at Auckland Council, the largest local government organisation in New Zealand. Our teams boast a high-level of technical expertise, while embracing innovation, a strong customer focus and providing opportunities for personal development and professional career growth

You will provide technical advice and certifications related to subdivision consents and activities across Tāmaki Makaurau with a primary focus on s223 survey plan approvals and s224(c) RMA completion documents.

As a senior team member, you will have a clear understanding of risk, be able to provide consistent and proportional decision making, and a strong emphasis on customer management, coaching others, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Experienced in the subdivision and land title field
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in surveying, planning or similar
  • Experienced as a coach and mentor
  • Focussed on building capacity within the team
  • Customer centric focus
  • Ability to develop and maintain quality relationships with multiple stakeholders
