Fluid Recruitment is proud to partner with a specialist consultancy in search of an experienced Structural Engineer to lead their division.

The Company

Our client is a globally recognized provider of specialized consulting services in the energy sector, focusing on Civil & Structural and Power Systems Engineering. Their Civil & Structural team is particularly experienced in power sector projects, including the design of substations and transmission towers. With offices in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, the team is expanding rapidly to meet the growing demands of both local and global infrastructure needs.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading an experienced team of Structural Engineer's, who undertake engineering across domestic and international projects in distribution and transmission sectors. You will utilise your proven civil structural experience to undertake engineering design on projects whilst providing mentorship and technical guidance for the team.

About You

To be able to hit the ground running and continue supporting a growing sector, you will have the following experience:

• Extensive background in the energy sector.
• Leadership or mentorship experience in an engineering environment.
• Coming from a strong background in Structural design and Project or Design Management with a strong understanding of industry regulations.
• Strong track record of delivering designs and projects to a high standard.
• A people person with strong technical skills who can communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Currently holding a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
