Far North District Council seeks a Senior Strategic Planner to lead development of district-wide spatial plans and community masterplans. You will collaborate across the Council, engage mana whenua and stakeholders, and adapt planning to upcoming Resource Management Act reform, while working in a hybrid role.

You will guide long-term growth, infrastructure servicing options, and contribute to development contributions policy, with a Grade 18 salary and pro rata terms.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in best-practice process and methodology for the development, implementation, and maintenance of district wide spatial plans and community level masterplans.
• Ability to collaborate across an organisation and with external stakeholders, facilitating meetings, workshops, and working groups.
• Experience in developing planning scenarios and infrastructure servicing optioneering at district and community level.

Aufgaben

• Lead the development of place-based plans to inform long-term growth and infrastructure needs.
• Engage mana whenua and key stakeholders to build trusted relationships.
• Present complex data clearly using ESRI GIS, storyboard, and MS Office tools.
