Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Spinal surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise acute operating lists (spinal and general orthopaedics).
• Lead ward rounds and clinics.
• Perform elective spinal operations and on-call duties within the SMO team.
• Engage in audit, teaching and continuing professional development.
