About The Role | Te mahi

An exciting opportunity awaits an outstanding Senior Spa Therapist to join the team at the beautiful and modern Moss Spa, within the Sudima Christchurch City.

We are looking for a passionate and customer focused therapist who is willing to exceed guest’s expectations with memorable spa treatments and service.

This is a permanent full-time role with a guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week, with a pay rate of $30 per hour. Weekends availability is a must.

Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa
  • Work flexibly across weekdays, weekends and public holidays
  • Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner
  • Deliver a high level of service to all guests
  • Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
  • Ensure client database is kept up to date and is correct
  • Keep a clean and stocked room
  • Suggest and promote retail products or additional services
  • Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
  • Apply best practices and keep up to date with market trends
  • Receiving bookings, arranging appointments and maintaining client records
About you | Ko koe tenei
  • NZQF Level 4 qualification, or at least three years of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
  • In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
  • Qualified CIBTAC or ITEC equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a Spa therapist
  • Passionate about Spa and Luxury Treatments
  • Hands on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing and face/body therapies
  • Experience in sales will be considered an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated team player with strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • User level computer skills
