Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Auckland seeks a Senior Manager to lead Sales and Purchase Agreement advisory within Transaction Diligence. You will work with global clients on complex deals, managing SPA workstreams and coordinating with bankers, lawyers, and management.

The role requires senior stakeholder engagement, deep financial analysis, and a passion for client service excellence. Hybrid work in Auckland with flexible hours is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics and CAANZ membership or international equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in professional services or chartered accounting, or in financial performance/analysis or M&A with a corporate.
• Ability to quickly develop, build and manage relationships with multiple clients and teams; experience with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and participate in SPA advisory engagements for acquisitions or disposals by private equity, funds, or corporate clients.
• Advise clients on transaction mechanisms and perform financial analysis to support negotiations and outputs.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and collaborate with EY service teams.
