Job summary

Everbridge in Auckland seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team, building our agentic AI platform used by our SaaS solution. You will design, implement, test, and maintain features and APIs, collaborating across teams to ensure quality and performance.

You’ll contribute to architecture discussions, own feature lifecycles, and work with React, Node.js, Java and Python, with AWS experience preferred. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, safety-focused product area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience developing AI solutions or eagerness to learn.
• Experience with Agentic AI practices and coding tools.
• Experience with large codebase products or enterprise software.
• Experience with cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.

While the project you will be working on utilizes React, Node.js, Java and Python, we encourage applications from candidates experienced in other technologies.
