Job summary

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) Auckland unit, 1NZSAS Regiment at Papakura Military Camp, seeks a motivated Software Developer to design, build, and maintain applications that support operations and business needs.

You will work across intranet applications, automation and integration, and Windows/mobile platforms, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions while aligning with Defence priorities and security standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in large, complex environments.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies.
• Self-motivated, independent with initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Development.
• Certifications in software release management advantageous.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software applications.
