Job summary

HEB Construction, a VINCI Construction company, invites a motivated Senior Site/Project Engineer to join a major bridge and structural works delivery on the Ōtaki to North Levin highway upgrade. You will provide on‑site engineering support, coordinate subcontractors, lead quality assurance, safety, and cost tracking, and help manage programmes and set‑out.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years as a Senior Site Engineer on bridge/structural projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site processes.
• Able to manage safety, quality, programme and cost on site.
• Excellent communication and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence or equivalent international licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support on bridge and structural works on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, QA, safety leadership, and cost tracking.
• Assist with programme updates and time-extension claims.
• Support methodology development and site set-out activities.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
