Job summary

PGG Wrightson Seeds, part of the DLF Group, is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Oceania Supply Chain team in Lincoln. You will own end-to-end supply planning across domestic and international markets, balancing demand, supply, inventory and customer needs.

You will design planning processes, develop Anaplan models and tools, and represent Planning in cross-functional forums, shaping how the team works and delivers across Sales, Production, Procurement, Finance and Operations.

Qualifications

• Around five years’ experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or related roles.
• Proven end-to-end supply planning across a complex product portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP and S&OE processes including demand-supply balancing and constraint management.
• Ability to interpret forecasts, identify trends and risks, and translate data into practical planning recommendations.
• Strong inventory management, including stock optimisation, allocation, ageing, surplus, obsolescence.
• Experience using planning platforms such as Anaplan, and ERP systems like Navision/Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Responsibilities

• Owning end-to-end supply plans across your area of responsibility, aligned to production and customer demand.
• Driving the supply side of S&OP and S&OE processes with cross-functional teams to reach practical, evidence-based decisions.
• Facilitating the monthly consensus forecast and challenging Sales inputs before they enter the forecast.
• Managing product allocation across customers and channels when supply is constrained.
• Monitoring inventory and working with Sales to reduce aged, slow-moving, surplus, or obsolete stock.
• Identifying risks and gaps in supply and demand, and recommending workable solutions.
• Maintaining accurate planning data in Anaplan and Navision, and helping develop planning models.
• Tracking and reporting forecast accuracy (WMAPE, bias), inventory, and supply performance.
• Supporting seed testing, quality requirements, and product availability reporting.
• Designing, documenting, and standardising planning processes, tools, and reporting.
• Representing Planning in cross-functional forums and guiding stakeholders when priorities change.
