Job summary

Westpac New Zealand Limited in Wellington is seeking a Senior Relationship Associate within Corporate Banking. You will lead credit analysis and submissions, support complex lending proposals and manage portfolio risk, while engaging with customers and key stakeholders to shape strategic banking solutions.

You will work alongside an experienced Relationship Manager, contribute to account planning and business development, and build trusted relationships across Westpac’s product partners,

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate, commercial or institutional banking, or a credit-focused environment.
• Strong financial analysis, credit assessment and credit writing capability.
• Experience supporting complex lending structures and managing portfolio risk.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence engaging with customers and senior stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of banking products, regulatory requirements and the New Zealand commercial environment.

**Senior Relationship Associate, Corporate Banking*** **Based in Wellington*** **Full time, Permanent position** We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Relationship Associate to join our Corporate Banking team in Wellington. This role combines advanced credit capability, portfolio management and customer engagement across complex corporate relationships. **Mō te tūranga | About the role**Working alongside an experienced Senior Relationship Manager and product partners, you will lead high-quality credit analysis and submissions, support complex lending proposals and proactively manage portfolio risk. You will use sound commercial judgement to help shape customer strategies and well-considered banking solutions.
