Job summary

Te Tari Pūreke – Firearms Safety Authority within the NZ Police seeks a Senior Recruitment Advisor to lead end-to-end recruitment, partnering with leaders across Auckland and Wellington to secure top talent. You will act as a trusted advisor, manage advertising through to offer, and navigate a complex regulatory environment with a focus on outcomes.

You will build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders, learn our recruitment frameworks, and have autonomy to drive effective workforce

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Recruitment Advisor - Te Tari Pūreke. In this role, you will lead end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio within Te Tari Pūreke, working closely with leaders to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes. While the roles you recruit will vary in level and complexity, you will operate as a trusted advisor, bringing a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and supporting leaders to identify, attract, and secure the right talent. You'll enjoy the variety that comes from working across different workgroups, developing strong relationships, and gaining a deep understanding of their workforce needs. With strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and a customer-focused approach, you will manage the recruitment process from advertising through to offer. You'll be supported as you learn our unique recruitment frameworks and processes, while being empowered to work with a high degree of autonomy. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with leaders and stakeholders across Auckland and Wellington, providing expert recruitment advice and helping to deliver effective workforce outcomes across Te Tari Pūreke.

Salary: This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence at $88,179.00.
