Job summary

ASB Bank in Auckland is seeking a Senior React Engineer to deliver large-scale web payments and money movement platforms. You will design componentised, reusable UI and integrate with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), working within Jira-driven agile delivery and CI/CD pipelines.

We seek an experienced front-end developer who thrives in structured governance, security, and accessibility requirements typical of public sector and regulated industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years front-end development experience with React.
• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise or government platforms.
• Familiarity with AEM HTL/Sightly or headless AEM via Cloud Service.
• Experience in Jira-managed agile teams.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Understanding WCAG accessibility and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable React applications with reusable components.
• Collaborate with AEM developers to integrate front-end components with AEM content authoring.
• Work within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for build, test, and deployment.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and security standards in government contexts.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
• Translate requirements with architects and product owners into technical solutions.
