Job summary

WT is seeking an established Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure team in Christchurch, working across a wide variety of projects from planning to delivery.

The role focuses on estimating, cost planning, cost monitoring and financial reporting, with value engineering, tender analysis, contract negotiations and final account preparation. 7+ years’ experience and a tertiary QS qualification are required, along with strong communication with clients and designers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing complex projects.
• 7+ years project experience in quantity surveying.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience with cost estimating and planning software (CostX).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

WT in Christchurch and Queenstown continue to secure a number of high-profile infrastructure projects, and in line with this strategic growth of our project pipeline, we are looking for an established Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our talented infrastructure team and work across a wide variety of projects.

Leading and supporting across multiple sectors, this role will perform various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen with a key focus on proactively maximising value for our clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing complex projects
• 7+ years project experience
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software/ Cost X
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
