Job summary

The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to lead testing activities within an agile delivery environment based in Wellington. You will plan, coordinate and execute testing efforts, mentor team members and promote consistent QA practices across the organisation to ensure high-quality, reliable systems.

You will work closely with stakeholders to support successful project delivery and continuous improvement in quality assurance while contributing to the development

Responsibilities

• Facilitate preparation, planning and execution of testing activities and deliverables.
• Ensure consistent application of MSD IST testing processes and standards.
• Collect testing metrics and produce reports to monitor quality.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and create high-quality defect reports.
• Coordinate and support day-to-day testing activities and track progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams to remove roadblocks.
