Job summary

Webuild S.p.A. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the senior project leadership team for a major vertical construction project in Christchurch, New Zealand.

You will work closely with the Project Director to deliver at-scale construction, guiding multidisciplinary teams, driving programme performance, and ensuring safety, quality, and commercial objectives are met. The role requires extensive PM experience in large-scale vertical building projects, ideally within a Tier 1 context,

Qualifications

• Extensive PM or senior construction delivery experience on major vertical building projects.
• Experience in Tier 1 construction environments delivering large-scale vertical projects.
• Led large multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors across complex packages.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, programme, design, and delivery interfaces.
• Proven ability to drive delivery in high-value, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management with senior client interaction.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful delivery of a major vertical construction project in Christchurch.
• Provide senior leadership across construction activities, multidisciplinary teams and interfaces.
• Drive programme performance and resolve delivery constraints, risks and interface issues.
• Coordinate across construction, design, engineering, commercial, planning and project controls.
• Ensure safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives stay at the forefront.
• Provide clear direction to project teams, subcontractors and delivery partners.
• Build strong relationships with the client and project stakeholders.
• Support project strategy, governance and senior-level decision making.
