Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in energy/utilities/infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience delivering energy/renewable energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of programme, cost, risk, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial acumen and contract management capability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex project environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Infrastructure, Energy, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, programmes, risks, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external consultants.

  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client objectives.

The Position

Due to continued growth within the energy sector, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager - Energy to join a successful and expanding team.

You will be responsible for managing projects throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, utility providers, and key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes across a range of energy-related developments and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Skills and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the energy, utilities, infrastructure, construction, engineering, or related sectors.
  • Experience delivering projects involving electricity, renewable energy, transmission, distribution, utilities, or major infrastructure assets.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including programme, cost, risk, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract management capability.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in complex project environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Infrastructure, Energy, or a related discipline.
