A leading company in New Zealand is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects. This role involves managing both local and national projects, requiring strong leadership, communication skills, and a solid background in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale projects and a commitment to teamwork and industry best practices.
Slate Architecture & Construction are a multi-disciplinary architecture and construction group, delivering remarkable residential homes and commercial projects across New Zealand. In continuing with their expansion into commercial construction, they have an exciting, new opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their well-established team, which is heavily involved with both commercial and high-end residential projects in Taranaki and across New Zealand.
This role will be based in New Plymouth but will involve project managing both local and national out-of-region remote projects. It is a pivotal part of their growth within the commercial construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, contractor management, and authority. Responsibilities include full-cycle project management across commercial and high-end residential projects, communication and relationship management with clients and stakeholders, and providing leadership to team members to foster a strong team culture.
