Inghams Chickens is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major capital projects across our Waitoa manufacturing and processing facilities. You will drive projects from concept through commissioning, focusing on safety, efficiency and compliance while coordinating with site teams from Auckland to the Bay of Plenty.
This role requires an engineering or project management background, 8–10 years of experience, and a strong ability to lead diverse teams.

About the Role
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering major capital projects across the organisation's manufacturing and processing facilities, with emphasis on
Oversees projects from concept through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
The role is predominantly based out of the Waitoa office. It works across the full Inghams NZ network, with processing and farming sites stretching from Auckland through to the Bay of Plenty. Regular travel to operational sites is a core part of the role
Key Responsibilities:
x Project Leadership and Delivery
Lead planning, execution and delivery of capital projects ($500k-$10m), including new plant installations, process improvements and building works. Manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate cross-functional teams. Ensuring projects align with the business capital plan and AOP.
Manage project budgets, prepare cost estimates, track expenditure, manage variations, and ensure optimal ROI. Prepare business cases and investment proposals for senior leadershi p.
x Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with Building Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, food safety regulations and RMA. Work with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary consents and approvals.
x Team Development
