About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Property team at Craigs Investment Partners (CIP). This is a 20-month fixed-term contract to lead the delivery of our new Head Office building at 2 Devonport Road, based at our existing Head Office in Tauranga.

Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will be key in establishing our new Head Office site and preparing it for ongoing business support, as well as exiting our two existing sites in Tauranga. With over 20 offices across NZ, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on our flagship site. The Senior Project Manager will be hands-on, proactive, and responsible for delivering outcomes on time, within budget, and aligned with our Strategic Plan, client expectations, and brand. Reporting to the Property Manager, responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the project and operational delivery for the implementation of our new Head Office.
  2. Managing project scope, design, timelines, budgets, resources, risk registers, and monitoring the build process, including exiting existing sites.
  3. Incorporating change management strategies and providing regular updates to Property and Executive teams.
  4. Communicating effectively within the Property team and with other stakeholders.
  5. Handling procurement, tender evaluations, and contracts.
  6. Ensuring compliance with technical, insurance, and contractual obligations.
  7. Managing relationships with stakeholders including construction, architects, furniture, AV, security, and others.
  8. Monitoring progress, financials, and maintaining asset registers.
About You

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with significant project management experience, preferably in property fitouts and construction of new builds. Key qualifications include:

  1. At least 5 years of project management experience.
  2. Experience in property fitouts, office moves, and site exits.
  3. Strong skills in project planning, risk management, and budget control.
  4. Experience in change management (desirable).
  5. Proven ability to work with subcontractors and vendors.
  6. Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work autonomously under pressure, managing multiple priorities.
  8. Proactive, delivery-focused, with strong communication skills.
