The Opportunity - Te Tūranga

In this role as Senior Project Manager, you will focus on:

• Managing the day-to-day operational relationship with Accenture (the TVNZ Master Systems Integrator) to deliver the Core Media Systems Investment Programme (CMSIP) with accountability across the Rights, Programming & Scheduling implementation and/or other projects as required.
• Delivery of TVNZ responsibilities and activities including planning and documenting project tasks, ensuring deliverables (dependencies) are delivered on-time, managing project resources, effectively communicating with stakeholders, eliminating blockers and potential risks, and documenting projects process using various project management tools.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

What We're Looking For - Tā mātou e kimi nei:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in delivering complex, transformational projects including within a larger programme of work (12months+).
• Experience managing MSI's to deliver within a large project.
• Highly tuned stakeholder management skills accompanied with effective communication skills (from technical teams to board).
• Experienced delivering projects within a programme framework that are highly interdependent and highly integrated with significant data migration.
• Ability to adapt to an ever changing landscape.
• Preferably, experience working in the media industry.
• Experience working with Architecture, Applications, Data, Infrastructure and Security teams.
• Jira/Confluence and other project management tools.
• Demonstrable experience in managing projects involving process reengineering, organisational change and technology enabled change.
• Have the stature, knowledge, personality and communication skills to rapidly gain credibility with senior managers, both internally and externally, and to influence key decision makers across TVNZ.
• Decisive and a self-starter with the energy, motivation and resilience necessary to be effective in a very demanding environment.
