Job summary

Hastings District Council is delivering a significant enterprise transformation programme to modernise core systems and improve services for the community. We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead this high-profile initiative, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and working with executive leaders, stakeholders, vendors and a dedicated project team.

• Manage scope, budget, schedule, risks and dependencies to achieve outcomes.
• Support governance, reporting and decision-making processes.
• Work with change, business analysis and subject matter experts to achieve technology, process and people outcomes.

Hastings District Council is delivering a significant enterprise transformation programme that will modernise core business systems, strengthen organisational capability and improve the services we provide to our community.

We are seeking an experienced SeniorProgrammeManager to lead this high-profile programme through implementation and delivery. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will work closely with executive leaders, business stakeholders,vendors,implementation partnersand an established programme team to ensure successful outcomes across technology, people and process change.

What you'll do

• Lead the delivery of a large-scale enterprise transformation programme from implementation through to successful adoption, coordinating technical, data, integration, testing, cutover, change and business-readiness activities while maintaining robust plans, governance, reporting and delivery controls throughout.
• Provide visible leadership across a diverse programme team, delivery partners and business stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships across all levels of Council to maintain alignment, momentum and commitment.
• Manage programme scope, budget, schedule, risks and dependencies to achieve successful outcomes.
• Support robust governance, reporting and decision-making processes.
• Work closely with change, business analysis and subject matter experts to ensure technology, process and people outcomes are successfully achieved.
• Partner with vendors and implementation partners to maximise value and delivery performance.
• Help ensure the organisation is prepared for, adopts and realises the benefits of change.
