Job summary

Partly is hiring a senior product designer to own the design system and shape AI-driven experiences for our parts platform. You’ll collaborate with Product Engineers across offices in Auckland, Christchurch, London and beyond to ship patterns that scale with our growing AI capabilities.

You’ll show 5+ years crafting complex software, driving production-ready design, and guiding teams through ambiguous problems. Join a fast-growing global team building the world’s first replacement-parts platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing complex software.
• Designed agentic experiences and shown work.
• Systems thinking and design systems.
• Production-ready craft including copy and UI.
• Strong product judgement and decision-making.
• Comfort working with multiple product teams.
• Curiosity about customers and their workflows.
• Clear written, verbal and visual communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the design system that engineers and agents use for AI experiences.
• Shape and ship patterns for agentic and generative experiences.
• Define product behavior when uncertainty arises.
• Give the product its character and tone across surfaces.
• Hold consistency across products by fixing at the system level.
• Work with real prototypes and data; test with customers.
• Pair with engineers and avoid hand-offs; collaborate closely.
