Partly is building the AI infrastructure layer for the global repair industry, starting with the $2tn automotive market. We create mission-critical software and scalable services to connect the world’s parts and repair ecosystem.

You will join a cross-functional team, tackling challenging problems and delivering robust, reliable software while shaping how we build and operate distributed systems. Based in a company with offices in Christchurch, Auckland, London, and Austin, you will collaborate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building complex applications.
• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, concurrency, APIs, testing, and design patterns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building reliable, distributed systems.
• Bonus: experience with automotive parts.
• Bonus: experience with Rust.

Responsibilities

• Work on mission-critical systems for core SaaS and API platform.
• Ensure features are scalable, fault-tolerant, and accurate.
• Deliver a great experience to businesses using the Partly platform.
• Develop and share software best practices with the team.
• Become an expert in the automobile parts domain.
