Job summary

WSP New Zealand is expanding its Power and Energy team and seeks experienced Power Engineering Consultants to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate across national teams to support design, site investigations and project delivery.

The role emphasizes managing timelines, budgets and risks, while championing health, safety and wellbeing in a supportive, inclusive culture and flexible working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (Washington Accord preferred).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in power engineering design projects.
• Background in consultancy.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative, proactive and client-focused mindset.

• Deliver high quality engineering solutions
