Job summary

The Production Supervisor Construction role is based in Auckland and requires full-time availability with flexibility for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience or a Level 4 or above qualification.
• Bachelor's degree or above, no major restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Managers, Architects and Surveyors in planning, organisation and coordination of commercial stone cladding, stone flooring and masonry projects.
• Interpret architectural drawings, stone shop drawings, engineering plans, building regulations and codes of practice to support stone fabrication and site installation activities.
• Prepare and update preliminary stone layout sketches, shop working drawings, material specifications and stone project documentation.
• Coordinate work programs, monitor project progress and assist in scheduling fabrication, delivery and on-site installation activities.
• Inspect stone products, installation work and site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations and stone industry quality standards.
• Calculate project costs, prepare stone quantity take-offs and assist in estimating fabrication and installation timeframes.
• Collect site measurements and technical data using surveying instruments and other measurement equipment for stone layout, cutting planning and project reporting.
