Placements24 is assisting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, to find a Senior Pharmaceutical Process Engineer. You will optimize and scale up manufacturing processes, lead validation activities, and ensure GMP compliance across the site.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with R&D, QA, and Production, and champion efficiency, safety, and regulatory excellence through process improvements and robust documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering; master's preferred.
• 7+ years of pharma process engineering experience.
• Experience with GMP, FDA, EMA requirements.
• Knowledge of unit operations and scale-up.

Responsabilidades

• Design and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Lead process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Drive process improvements to cut costs and waste.
• Ensure GMP, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Production for new products.
• Develop/process documentation like SOPs and batch records.
• Evaluate new tech and equipment.
• Conduct PHAs and implement safety measures.
• Mentor junior engineers.
