Skyline in Queenstown, New Zealand is seeking a Pastry Chef to assist in the efficient preparation of menu items, portion control, presentation and service of all pastries. You will follow the Head Pastry Chef’s directions to the highest professional standards in a fast-paced kitchen.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years pastry chef experience in a high-end, high-volume kitchen, strong patisserie knowledge and attention to detail.
Qualificações
- 4+ years pastry chef experience or relevant qualification
- Relevant experience within a similar high-end and high-volume kitchen
- Extensive knowledge of patisserie with good technical ability and a great eye for detail
- Experience in buffet production is desirable
- A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
- A passion for providing fantastic service and ability to produce a quality product
- A high level of food safety and hygiene
