Job summary

Habit Health in Wellington is growing its Rehabilitation team and seeks an experienced Physiotherapist to lead a Pain Management focused role for ACC‑covered injuries. You will assess and educate clients, deliver tailored rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across Wellington locations.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, strong clinical reasoning and patient education to improve function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' clinical physiotherapy experience.
• 2+ years' experience with pain management or persistent pain rehab.
• Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and APC.
• Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with ACC rehabilitation pathways.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and rehab programmes.
• Support clients with persistent pain to achieve functional goals.
• Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists and other rehab pros.
• Develop high-quality clinical documentation and ACC reports.
• Build strong relationships with referrers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture focused on client outcomes.
