Job summary

KidzFirst Child Development Team (CDT) in Manukau, South Auckland, is seeking a Senior Neurodevelopment Therapist to work with paediatric clients (0–2 years) across home, clinic, and tele-health settings. The role welcomes Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or NDT with a passion for early intervention and community impact.

Qualifications

• Interest in paediatrics and willingness to learn within paediatric settings.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with whanau and teams.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Current NZ practising certificate for Physiotherapist or OT.
• Minimum of 5 years paediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transdisciplinary paediatric neurodevelopment interventions for 0–2 years old.
• Conduct home visits, clinic sessions, tele-health and group therapy as appropriate.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other health professionals to plan and evaluate outcomes.
• Prescribe orthotics and equipment where indicated and participate in care planning.
