Job summary

Habit Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Wellington CBD. You will work across community rehabilitation, pain management, concussion, training for independence, vocational services, and broader wellbeing outcomes.

You will deliver OT services in community, clinic, workplace and home settings, complete comprehensive assessments and develop personalised rehabilitation plans, and liaise with clients, whānau, ACC and

Qualifications

• Registered OT with NZ APC and current practice status.
• Experience in rehabilitation, community health, disability, injury management or related fields.
• Open to clinicians at all experience levels; roles for OT and Senior OT.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full NZ driver’s licence for community-based rehab.
• Passion for helping people achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality OT services across community, clinic, workplace and home environments.
• Complete assessments and develop personalised rehabilitation plans.
• Support clients to achieve meaningful goals and maximise participation in daily activities.
• Provide education, strategies and interventions to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Liaise with clients, whānau, ACC, employers and healthcare providers.
• Prepare high-quality reports and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and manage your caseload in our clinical systems.
