Placements24 is seeking a Senior NLP Engineer to join our Queenstown team. You will design, implement, and optimize advanced NLP models for real-world data, including text classification, sentiment analysis, and NER, with production-ready pipelines.

You will collaborate with researchers and engineers, stay abreast of the latest language AI developments, and contribute to deploying scalable NLP solutions. A strong research background and hands-on coding experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field with a specialization in NLP.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in NLP research and development.
• Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Transformers, Gensim).
• Strong understanding of ML, DL, and statistical modeling for NLP.
• Experience with text preprocessing and representation learning.
• Experience deploying NLP models into production.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Senior NLP Engineer to join their dynamic team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape . This role focuses on developing and implementing state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing models and solutions to extract meaning, insights, and value from textual data. You will work on challenging projects involving text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, machine translation, and question answering systems. This is an on-site position where you will collaborate closely with a team of researchers and engineers to push the boundaries of what's possible with language AI.
