Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Network Operator to join our Water Services - Delivery team at Rotorua Lakes Council and help deliver safe, reliable drinking water to our community.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on technical and specialist tasks across the drinking water reticulation network, from maintenance and repairs to monitoring pump stations and reservoirs.
  • Be hands-on fixing problems and keeping our water infrastructure in top condition.
  • Provide on-site crew leadership, passing on knowledge and helping others to grow.
Qualifications
  • Level 4 Water Reticulation qualification
  • At least five years’ industry experience
  • Physically fit, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and a customer-first approach
  • Commitment to bicultural values and working with Te Arawa is valued
