Job summary

SGS is seeking an experienced Ultrasonic Welds Level 2 NDT Inspector to join our Hamilton team. This role includes performing inspections on plant and equipment while preparing precise reports and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will benefit from ongoing training and engage in diverse projects across New Zealand.

Key qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of NDT experience and Level 2 certifications. Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety are crucial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ practical NDT experience of UT2 Weld inspection essential.
• Certifications in UT, MT, PT required.
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections on plant, pressure equipment, and structural components.
• Prepare accurate, detailed, compliant reports for clients.
• Support shutdowns and maintenance projects.
