Job summary

Endura Mining in New Zealand is seeking a Senior Metallurgist to lead plant performance, optimise gold recovery and resolve deviations across gravity, leach and flotation circuits.

You will set operating guidelines, run trials and provide day‑to‑day technical support to the processing team, collaborating with external analysts and labs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in metalliferous mineral processing with gold recovery (gravity, leach, flotation).
• Proven ability to lead investigations and plant trials.
• Commitment to safety and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Challenge plant performance and identify root causes of deviations.
• Lead improvements in gravity gold recovery, throughput, flotation, and dewatering.
• Set operating guidelines, setpoints and parameters to meet targets.
• Lead investigations to minimise losses and enable corrective action.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to the processing team.
• Design trials and metallurgical tests and report results.
• Support commissioning and ramp-up, including reagent regime optimization and circuit tuning.
• Collaborate with external consultants and labs on test programs.
