About theRole
As a Consultant,you - ll play a vital role in the care and management of critically ill andinjured patients referred to the Department of Intensive Care. This is adynamic and varied role, where your day could include caring for tertiarytrauma, neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, spinal, paediatric, and general medicalor surgical patients.
You - ll alsocontribute to our Deteriorating Patient Outreach Service and participate in theAir Retrieval Service, offering support across the South Island. You - ll havethe opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art, 48-bed ICU facility, currentlyoperating 24 beds across two ICU pods.
This is arewarding opportunity for both newly qualified Specialists seeking to broadentheir scope and experienced Intensivists ready for a new challenge within adiverse and complex clinical environment.
