Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong technical design skills and a multi-disciplinary mindset. This role involves managing mechanical work packages within the Building Services segment.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about technical delivery in Building Services. With at least 7 years of experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, including a consulting background, you will be an excellent fit for our team. You are an effective team player with a proactive and positive problem-solving approach. Your ability to develop the technical expertise of junior mechanical engineers will be highly valued.

You have proven experience in delivering mechanical HVAC design from inception through to practical completion. Familiarity with load estimation tools like Carrier E-20 or IES, and design communication software such as Bluebeam and Revit, is essential. Knowledge of international standards for mechanical HVAC building services and industry guidance like CIBSE or ASHRAE is important. If you have a consulting background in New Zealand, familiarity with local building codes and seismic design requirements is a plus.
