Job summary
CAE is seeking a Manager, Systems & Software to lead a team of about 16 engineers across software and hardware for defence and simulation programs in the Asia Pacific region. The role reports to the Senior Manager Engineering - IPAC and focuses on planning, execution and delivery while meeting quality, schedule and cost objectives.
You will partner with engineering, project and business leaders in Australia and internationally, shaping capability and aligning regional outcomes with CAE's global
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proven leadership of technical teams.
- Experience in software/hardware or complex systems environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing resources, schedules, budgets and risks.
- Ability to operate in complex engineering/project environments.
- Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain Defence Clearance.
- Ability to work from Homebush, NSW site.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of software and hardware engineers.
- Plan and oversee activities across projects, services and bids.
- Ensure solutions align with system architecture and quality standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
- Manage delivery risks, team performance and continuous improvement.
- Align with CAE's global engineering organisation and practices.
