New Zealand Government seeks a Senior Manager - Audit and Integrity to lead NZTA's internal and investment audit programmes and the independent integrity function. You will strengthen governance, transparency and confidence in how NZTA operates, reporting to the Board and the Group General Counsel.

You will build capability, apply risk-based audit methods, and promote a culture of integrity and accountability across a complex organisation and its councils.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience leading internal audit, assurance or integrity functions.
• Ability to design and deliver risk-based audit programmes and integrated assurance frameworks.
• Knowledge of internal audit standards and the Three Lines Model.
• Strong expertise in integrity, fraud and misconduct management and investigations.
• Proven leadership of specialist teams and strong communication skills.

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThis newly established role brings together NZTA's investment audit, internal audit, assurance and integrity functions to strengthen organisational performance and accountability.Reporting to the Group General Counsel and directly accountable to the Board for the quality, independence and impact of internal audit activity and assurance reporting, you will provide clear, evidence-based assurance that strengthens governance, transparency and confidence in how NZTA operates.As Senior Manager - Audit and Integrity, you will lead NZTA's Board approved internal audit and investment audit programmes. The portfolio spans value for money, organisational systems and processes, and assurance over investment through the National Land Transport Programme.
