Job summary

CoLegal in Blenheim seeks a Lawyer at Senior Solicitor or Associate level with 3-7 years' PQE to join its growing litigation practice. This role offers ownership of files and direct exposure to clients and court work from early on, with a clear progression pathway in a highly regarded firm.

The position provides autonomy within a close-knit team, mentorship, and opportunities to develop in relationship property and complex civil litigation across Marlborough.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' post-qualification experience.
• A current New Zealand practising certificate.
• Litigation experience gained in private practice.
• Experience in relationship property matters.
• Strong drafting, advocacy and communication skills and confidence in court.
• Sound judgement and a practical, client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage files and advise clients from day one.
• Attend mediations and support court appearances.
• Contribute to business development initiatives.
• Develop your brand and career in a relationship-focused practice.
