Job summary

Auckland Council in Birkenhead is seeking a Senior Library & Council Services Assistant to help deliver frontline library services and engage with our diverse community. You will build relationships with patrons and partners, promote library programmes, and support digital literacy and community engagement.

The role is 30 hours per week, based at Birkenhead Library, with opportunities to collaborate across the Kaipātiki Local Board and Auckland's public libraries network.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering frontline library services.
• Ability to engage diverse communities.
• Comfort with technology and devices.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with frontline library services.
• Develop relationships with community patrons and partners.
• Promote and deliver library programmes and services.
• Support planning and delivery of events and programmes.
