Fonterra Oceania is our newly formed entity that merges the Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia operations, aimed at enhancing our competitive position in the trans-Tasman dairy market. About the Opportunity

Step into a pivotal leadership role as our Senior Key Account Manager, where you’ll shape the future of our most strategic categories and play a key part in elevating high-value partnerships. You’ll lead with impact, coach and develop talent, and drive both day-to-day excellence and long-term growth in a supportive, collaborative team. In addition to this you will:

  • Take ownership of our yoghurt and milk categories, setting the strategic direction and ensuring operational excellence
  • Coach and mentor an Account Executive and support the wider team’s development
  • Identify trends and growth opportunities through data insights and turn these into actionable plans
  • Navigate complex challenges, including ambiguity, while strengthening Fonterra’s position as a valued, strategic partner
  • Work closely with stakeholders across category, marketing, shopper marketing, finance, and supply chain
  • Be integral to our culture of "Good Together"- where asking for help and offering support is the norm, and everyone’s success is shared
About You

You are a relationship builder, a strategic thinker, and a hands-on leader ready to make your mark in FMCG. You thrive in dynamic environments, love a challenge, and are passionate about developing others and delivering results. In addition to this you will have:

  • Proven experience managing key grocery accounts
  • Strong understanding of FMCG operations and category management
  • Experience coaching or mentoring others, with a genuine interest in team development.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, foster strong, strategic relationships, and create new opportunities for collaboration
  • Commercial acumen, with a data-driven approach to identifying and executing growth opportunities
  • The ambition and readiness to step up into future leadership, with this role offering a clear pathway to the Business Manager position
