Job description

Seeking experienced Java developer to lead creation of our visionary new software product.

Be one of the first employees of our new start-up and help shape our expansion and growth.

OPOPLAN is a revolutionary software project that aims to bring architects' designs to the 90% of people worldwide who currently cannot access them online. It is a part exchange platform and part automated design tool, disrupting the status quo by democratizing and demystifying architecture while spreading the benefits of great design to everyone.

The role is based in Dublin city centre and will last for 16 to 18 months. It offers creativity, challenge, and a clear progression path towards spinning out the company to commercialize and scale the product. Work directly with the founder and under the guidance of our external tech expert to create this first-of-its-kind SaaS product.

Requirements include:

1. Minimum of 6 years of experience with Java.
2. Experience as ICT lead on new Java projects.
3. Ability to define, configure, and maintain the software development process using tools such as SVN, Maven, and Jenkins.
4. Experience working within an Agile project management process.

The role offers a salary of €51,000+ (plus potential future equity), with flexibility regarding location and 20 days of annual leave. Funding for the position is guaranteed for the duration of the project.

After an initial on-site period, remote work would be negotiable.
