Halter is seeking a Senior/Lead Mobile Engineer with deep iOS native development expertise and a product‑obsessed mindset. You will drive a truly native mobile experience through a React Native codebase and lead architecture with a focus on performance and DX for the mobile team.

Collaborate with product and design to ship high-impact features, mentor engineers, and evolve our mobile design system as Halter grows. This office-first role values ownership, curiosity, and practical problem solving.

Qualifications

• Deep iOS native development experience with strong architecture approach.
• Experience with React Native and mapping to the iOS platform.
• Shipping high-performance, complex native iOS apps in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of core features for the Halter app with deep native integration.
• Collaborate with React front-end engineers to ensure a performant native mobile app.
• Trade-off design decisions with Design and Product; improve DX and use AI tools to speed delivery.
• Drive app performance and optimize battery life across the stack.
• Build resilient flows and robust error handling for real-world use cases.
• Evolve the design system and mentor engineers through reviews and pairing.
