Job summary

Trade Me Motors is seeking a Senior Android Developer to build native Android apps with Kotlin/Java, mentor teammates, and drive innovative mobile solutions. You will contribute across all development phases, ensure quality with manual and automated tests, and collaborate within mobile guilds to advance our platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
• 3+ years (Intermediate) or 5+ years (Senior) experience in mobile development roles.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong architecture design awareness and ability to deliver large, complex features.
• An eye for detail to make our Android experience faster, reliable, and maintainable.
• A collaborative mindset with strong initiative, organisation, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach less experienced members of the team (Senior level).
