Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Senior Integration Developer to deliver hands-on REST API integrations, primarily connecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE with an external platform. The role emphasizes data transformation, debugging, and reliable API-driven solutions in a NZ-based setting.

You'll bring strong C#/.NET skills, experience with OAuth2, JWT and API keys, plus exposure to Dataverse and middleware tools. The project is six months, with a focus on robust, scalable integration design.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of JSON payloads, data mapping and transformation.
• Experience with authentication including OAuth2, API Keys and JWT.
• Strong API integration troubleshooting and debugging capability.
• Experience with asynchronous processing, logging and error handling.
• Ideally hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support system-to-system integrations between Dynamics CE and external platforms.
• Work across REST APIs to exchange data and ensure reliable data transformation.
• Expose and consume APIs, troubleshoot integration issues and implement robust error handling.
• Assist with authentication, logging and monitoring of integration pipelines.
• Provide hands-on development for Dynamics plugins and related workflows as needed.

Senior Integration Developer (API Developer) | Contract (6month) | Auckland
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Integration Developer / API Developer to join our client on a hands-on integration project connecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE with an external platform.

About the role

In this role you’ll be responsible for developing and supporting system-to-system integrations, working across REST APIs, data transformation and Dynamics CE. The integration will operate in both directions: extracting and transforming data from Dynamics CE for external APIs, and bringing status and completion data back into CE.

This is a practical development role suited to someone who is comfortable getting into the detail, troubleshooting integrations and delivering reliable API-based solutions.

About you

You’ll bring:
