Webuild S.p.A. seeks a Compliance Lead based in Christchurch, New Zealand, to direct project-wide compliance activities within a major infrastructure PPP/JV environment.

You will lead governance processes, assurance programs and regulatory obligations, working with regulators, auditors and JV partners to ensure integrity and delivery excellence. You will develop and maintain compliance systems, provide strategic guidance to leadership, and drive continuous improvement while fostering a culture

Formación

• Proven experience in compliance, governance, risk, assurance or regulatory management within major infrastructure or engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of legislative, regulatory, contractual and corporate compliance obligations.
• Experience implementing and maintaining compliance frameworks, governance systems and assurance programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage compliance audits, investigations and review processes.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication across all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and maintain project compliance systems and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, regulations, contracts and standards.
• Provide compliance advice to project leadership and functional teams.
• Coordinate compliance audits, inspections and reviews.
• Monitor risk and support mitigation actions and corrective actions.
• Maintain registers, reporting systems and governance documentation.
• Coordinate investigations relating to breaches and incidents.
• Monitor regulatory developments and inform stakeholders.
• Support ethics, conduct, conflict of interest and whistleblower programs.
• Develop and deliver compliance training across the project.
• Assist teams in meeting contractual compliance obligations.
• Facilitate governance meetings and prepare reports and action registers.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, clients and stakeholders on compliance matters.
• Track audit findings and closure of improvement actions.
• Prepare regular compliance dashboards for leadership.
• Support continuous improvement to strengthen compliance performance.
• Foster integrity and accountability across the project.
