Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Transmission Lines Engineer to lead high voltage transmission projects across New Zealand. You will contribute from early design through construction support, collaborating with local engineers and APAC specialists to deliver impactful infrastructure for the energy transition.

The role offers flexible base locations across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or remote within NZ, with opportunities to work across regions while staying close to practical delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in transmission line engineering and design.
• Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with PLS-CADD, TOWER or POLE; knowledge of AS/NZS, IEEE, IEC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high voltage transmission line projects across New Zealand.
• Contribute from early design through to construction support.
