Senior Geotechnical Engineer | Whangārei

Our Northland Geotechnical group has an exciting opportunity for a geotechnical engineer to work across the Northland Region, contributing to the overall development of the WSP Geotechnical Engineering capability.

This role will focus on providing geotechnical leadership to local projects through site assessment, civil design, slop stability assessment, foundation assessment investigation and geotechnical analysis. You’ll enjoy a varied project portfolio across multiple sectors including Road, Water, Buildings and Structures.

Our Regional Engineering teams are established, successful teams working on exciting and diverse projects across Aotearoa. We take personal development seriously and encourage our team members to diversify their project portfolios across their individual areas of interest.

About you:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology
  • CPEng or progression towards this
  • Ideally minimum 8 years’ professional experience
  • Current, clean drivers license
